July 24, 2025Rishabh Pant on Thursday (July 24) entered his name in the record books by becoming India’s highest run getter in the World Test Championship (WTC). The 27-year-old wicketkeeper-batter broke Rohit Sharma’s record of 2716 runs to take the No. 1 position in the list of batters with the most runs for India in the WTC. Pant needed 40 runs in the fourth India-England Test to break Rohit’s record, and he achieved the objective during the second session of the second day’s play at Old Trafford.
